Made for each other

It was on a rainy July noon that I waited with bated breath
To catch a glimpse of my soul mate to be

Hope in my eyes; curiosity on my face; butterflies in my stomach
Excitement of the unknown; adrenalin pumping to receive my future…

My heart skipped a beat; eyes transfixed on the street
The wait seemed eternal……

Who is she? How would she be? What was she?
Thousand Thoughts flooded my mind

My gaze lifted as she popped her head out to meet mine
Like a Turtle does from its shell to connect with the world

A Benign smile; Face full of innocence
Sparkle in her eyes made me feel happy

She laughed, spoke & as the coffee brewed
The liking increased for what she was

The moment came when both said Ahem!!
To walk down the path of life together

We took the First step in Aug, the second in Feb
When we tied the knot to realize the dream of being one

Life’s been great since then with love, fun & our quarrels
Shared Dreams, Shared aspirations to live a life full of zeal & zest

Sensitivity with Objectivity; Heart with Head; Calmness with Impetuosity
Devotion with commitment; mutual respect & feeling for each other has been the tale of our partnership

Forgive & Forget; Live & Let Live;
Have been the tenets of our lives so far

It’s been a memorable passage of life so far;
With hope & optimism; we look to create a future

Where we see our partnership blossom AND
Make it a “Made for Each Other” parable in times to come

5.45 AM

What's with time? Heh, It means a lot in a city like Mumbai. Now I hope u understand where I am heading too. Have you noticed the traffic during peak hours in Mumbai? I realized it today morning 5.45 am. I know its too early for me to wake up but the best part is it took exactly 1/2 hr for me to reach Mulund from Malad. Damn fast ain't it? I was puzzled was it the rick driver whose enjoying the speed long drive or is it the cool and less polluted empty roads. I decided thereon, any long travel should be done at the dawn hours. It takes at the least close to an hour and half to reach Mulund from Malad during the peak hours if you driver is a pretty well drive and knows how to race with the ricks and other drivers. Else you remain stuck your whole life. The worst part is you are completely drenched out sitting and waiting and full of dust. After all this you look like some one has fought with a kiddo in the mud. Guys take it from me travel during non traffic hours and save your life :) 5.45AM is a really good time to venture out.
